SBA: Buckeye Lake is Economic Injury Disaster

The Small Business Administration announced Thursday that the Buckeye Lake Region is in a state of Economic Injury disaster. The move gives small businesses in the region the chance to apply for low-interest loans. The declaration will provide some relief for those impacted while the deteriorated dam at the lake is replaced. The Small Business Administration says the primary counties affected by the disaster are Perry, Licking and Fairfield. But other counties can apply for loan help and they include Muskingum, Morgan, Coshocton six other counties. Businesses without credit would get an interest rate of four percent.
