New Pup in Need of Forever Home
Jazzy, a six-year-old terrier mix, is one of the Animal Shelter’s newest pups up for adoption.
Jazzy is a fun-loving dog, who will lay on your lap and cuddle up to your feet. Animal Shelter Executive Director, Jody Murray said aside from getting nervous around cats, she is a very friendly dog, who would make for a great companion.
“The great thing about her is she has a sponsored adoption, the Century 21 Program, through Zanesville Middle School is sponsoring her, so her adoption fee is just $75, so as you can see she’s a great little dog,” Murray said.
Murray also wants to remind people to bring their pups out to the second annual “Dog Day” this weekend, where they’ll be able to create their own artwork. Volunteers from the shelter will be in attendance with several dogs up for adoption.
“The local art community is going to have some art displayed there, they’re going to have some activities for people to bring their dogs in and do a ‘paws paint a canvas’ project, so come out, we’re going to have some puppies out there available for adoption, answering questions and things like that,” Murray said.
“Dog Day” is this Saturday at North Valley Bank on Maple Avenue from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
