Man Charged in Armed Robbery at Duke and Duchess Gas Station

Charges have been filed against a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the Duke and Duchess gas station on Adamsville Road August 15.

Muskingum County Sheriff, Matt Lutz said in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 18, state troopers conducted a felony stop of a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Belmont County. The officers recognized the driver as the same individual on the surveillance footage of the robbery. The suspect, 33-year-old Clint Mclean, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated robbery. He is currently being held on a $200,000 bond in the Muskingum County Jail. Lutz said Mclean has an extensive criminal record, including felony thefts and receiving stolen property.
