Free Election Mobile App

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Board of Elections has gone digital.

You can now access all your voter’s information on your smart phone. This app has information such as your polling place and what’s on the ballot.

“I have used it several times,” Timothy Thompson, Board of Elections, Executive Director said. “In fact we’ve been able to use it since last fall. So we are just trying to reemphasizing the fact that it is available. A lot of people like to their phone anymore and that’s a good way to access infor.”

All the information in the app is the same information you’ll get from the board of elections. So instead of making a trip to the board of elections the information will be right there in your finger tips.

“It’s just a portable way of finding out information about your voting precinct. Where go to vote. Voting locations. Your voter history. All kinds of information is available on it. You can find out about your candidates, find out about issues, options that are in your precinct. You can download a sample ballot,” Thompson said.

The app is free and can be found in your app store. Simply search for “Ohio voter information.”
