Shots Fired at Quickway in Heath
The Heath Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning incident where suspects shot at vehicles.
Police said just before 1a.m. Saturday they responded to the Quickway at 680 Keller Drive in reference to someone firing shots at vehicles and employees.
Witnesses said that a small silver car, possibly a Ford Focus, stopped on Keller Drive and fired a shot at one vehicle and one employee.
The vehicle then went to the Faye Drive side of the business, firing several more shots. One entered and exited a semi window, nearly striking the employee inside.
The vehicle then left traveling northbound on Coffman towards West Main Street in Newark.
A similar incident took place on Monday, August 31 when a vehicle was turning into River Oaks off Irvingwick Drive East and was shot at by occupants of a small silver car.
The victim saw what appeared to be two male subjects in the vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was not struck and no other damage was found.
