Local Church is Raising Money for a New Roof

After being located at the corner of Lexington and Indiana Avenue for around 120 years, the Brighton Presbyterian Church is desperately in need of a new roof.

To help raise money, members of the church will be hosting a garage sale inside the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a wide variety of items available for purchase.

“We have a wide variety of items, we have clothing of all sizes, toys, household items, christmas decorations, fall decorations, cookware, craft supplies, and anything else you can imagine,” said Sally Goins, Member of the Presbyterian Church.

All of the items that are for sale were donated by members of the church along with friends and family.

If you can’t make it to the garage sale on Saturday, you can call the church at (740) 452-6441 and they will make arrangements for you to come in and take a look at what they have left over from the garage sale.
