Genesis Radiation Oncology Renovation

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Construction is set to finish this week at the Genesis Radiation Oncology building.
The bridge that connected Good Sam Hospital to Genesis was removed back in July. That section of the building is now being renovated into offices. Eddie Ravak, the Superintendent at Surgent Construction, said that it’s an existing part of the building that the bridge used to attach to, and have totally renovated it on the inside.
That part of the building will be completely restored. So far, construction has gone very smoothly.
“We put in all new framing, new drywall, a new ceiling, and carpet. Everything from top to bottom,†said Ravak.
Work should be done by Friday of this week, and there will be a large window in place of where the bridge was removed.
