Bonham Behind Bars: Update
The Knox County Sheriffs’ Office reported they’ve arrested 31-year-old Travis Bonham in connection to a double homicide.
Just before 3pm on Sunday a Mount Vernon Police Department Officer spotted a vehicle driving down Main Street with a male passenger covered in tattoos.
The officer continued to follow the car until other officers could respond.
The vehicle was eventually stopped on State Route 62 in Licking County with the assistance of the Licking County and Knox County deputies.
Bonham was arrested without incident.
The driver of the vehicle Ashli Price, of Mount Vernon, was also arrested. Her driver’s license is currently suspended and she may be facing additional charges.
On September 30, Knox County authorities received a call from a Monroe Township home where Sandra Stelk’s daughter called 911. After entering the home authorities found the bodies of Stelk and 23-year-old Jaime Barber.
Bonham is Stelk’s son and police said Barber is believed to have been in a relationship with Bonham.
