Assault Under Investigation

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for a suspect involved in an assault early Tuesday morning. 

Deputies said just before 2a.m. they responded to the 500 block of South 7th Street in Coshocton and found 38-year-old Jeffery Allan Lutgen. 

Lutgen told authorities he was in an alley near 748 Vine Street when an unknown male assaulted him. 

He suffered a laceration to his lower abdomen and an jury to the left side of his head. 

Lutgen was taken to Coshocton Memorial Hospital and then transported to Grant Medical Center. He’s listed in stable condition at this time.

The suspect is described as being a white male with a stocky build, approximately 5’9-5’10 inches tall. He was wearing a white tank top and gray shorts with a red stripe.
