Body Found in Perry County

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said the Ohio Department of Natural Resources is investigating the discovery of a body.

Sheriff’s deputies, along with ODNR officials, found the body of a deceased male Wednesday in a wooded area off of State Route 345 in Perry County. The sheriff’s office said the male was removed with the help of Fire and EMS personnel from Crooksville, Roseville, Newton and New Lexington.

The investigation is ongoing.
