Anne Holton promoting campaign for Clinton
Zanesville, Ohio-Â Wife of democratic vice presidential nominee senator Tim Kaine and former Virginia Secretary of Education stopped by Zanesville today to campaign for Hillary Clinton.
Holton said that Ohio voters should support Clinton and Kaine because of their lifelong commitments to fighting for children and families, as well as, their agenda to build an economy for everyone.
“She’s been in the state of Ohio all day,” said Dr. Catherine Johnson, Volunteer, Democratic Coordinating Office. Â “She was over in Dayton, Columbus, Delaware and back here talking to volunteers and trying to get people excited about these last 47 days.”
Johnson said that they have a really excited group, but they’re not as big as some of the surrounding counties.
“We’re really working hard to get all of the real active democrats involved with the campaign, getting in our phone books, visiting neighborhoods and signing up for voter registration.”
Holton urges Ohioans to register to vote by October 11th.
