6 year old Shih Tzu mix Bub is this week’s Pet of the Week

Zanesville, Ohio- It’s that time of the week again. Where we visit the animal shelter and showcase a four legged feline or canine.

This week it’s 6 year old Shih Tzu mix, Bub. He’s been at the shelter since the beginning of September. He is current on his shots and has already been neutered this lap dog can be yours for $115.

“He was actually a dog that was at the pound,” Animal Shelter, Executive Director Jody Murray said. “We went up and pulled him from the pound. He was really, really scruffy looking when we got him. He gets a long will with other dogs. As you can see he’s kind of a lap dog. Likes to sit on your lap.”

And tomorrow the shelter will have their annual fundraiser at Zane State.

“We’ve had great tickets sells. In fact we sold all of our pre-sell tickets. We have about 80 floor auction items and probably close to 100 silent auctions items. It’s one of our major fundraisers. We just like to express our appreciation for all the support we’ve had,” Murray said.

Murray hopes to see everyone at their annual fundraiser Saturday night.
