The Fieldhouse to hold 5k

ZANESVILLE, Ohio - The Fieldhouse will hold a 5k run/walk to support the Eli Murphy family next month.
Eli Murphy is a toddler who was injured during a camping accident, which left him with first, second, and third degree burns on fifteen percent of his body.
The Fieldhouse wants to do something special to help the family offset bill when he gets out of the hospital. Lisa Karling is a friend of the family, and said that he is unfortunately still at Children’s, and will probably be there for another week to two weeks while he recovers.
The 5k is a race, and prizes will be given out to the winners, but you do have the option to walk. It will take place on the track outside of the facility. If the weather is bad, everything will be moved to the indoor track.Â
“We are accepting any and all donations. Cash, gifts for the silent auction items. Donations can be made at The Fieldhouse, and any Community Bank location,” said Karling.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on October 15th. If you have any questions, call 740-454-2224. This event will be RAIN OR SHINE.Â
