Mautz Sentenced on OVI Charge

A Zanesville man facing his seventh OVI appears in Muskingum Common Pleas Court on Monday.

Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced 40-year-old Scott Mautz to thirty months in prison on one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a second count was dropped at sentencing.

He also will have his driver’s license suspended for life and pay a mandatory fine. He will undergo drug and alcohol treatment while in prison.

According to the State Highway Patrol just before 1am May 3rd, Mautz was stopped for a traffic violation and arrested for OVI.
