It’s time for heroes to be nominated.
American Red Cross is hosting their 11th annual Hometown Heroes Breakfast. The breakfast will take place on Thursday, November 10,2016 with doors opening at 7:00 A.M. at North Terrace Church of Christ. Executive Director, Marlene Henderson, is excited to see the 11th heroes breakfast take place.

“Every year when we select heroes we always think nothing can never top this and every year it does,” said Henderson “It’s very exciting you walk out of the breakfast and you are actually so inspired by the people in our community that go above and beyond.”

Currently American Red Cross is collecting nominations for the ten categories of heroes. The categories are Education Hero, Senior Adult Hero, Military Hero, Community Hero, Public Safety Hero, Work Place Hero, Faith Based Hero, Health Care Hero, Youth Hero, and Hero to Pets.

“We are actually looking for heroes and if you know someone in the community that has gone beyond and has done something in your life or the lives of people in the community and you would like to nominate them,” said Henderson.

Nomination forms are due Monday October 10,2016. Nomination forms can be mailed to
Southeast Ohio Red Cross, 7650 East Pike, Norwich, Ohio 43767 or emailed to Henderson at marlene.henderson@redcross.org For more information call Red Cross at (740) 452-2731.
