Sobriety Checkpoint Friday Night

The Highway Patrol says a sobriety checkpoint is planned for our area. Troopers say it will happen tonight on State Route 60 in McConnelsville Friday evening. The event will start at 8:00 p.m. and run until 11:00 p.m. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the McConnelsville Police department will participate. The checkpoint is funded by federal grants and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. There will also be nearby saturation patrols in that area tonight.
