Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Today the Animal Shelter Society introduced us to Cookie a three year old Jack Russel Tarrier Mix. According to Assistant Director, Charity Stevens, Cookie is fine with other dogs and cats, but suggests that anyone interested in adopting her come in to play and get to know Cookie.

“She just needs an older family that can understand and give her the energy level activity that she needs,” said Stevens. “She loves to play with toys. Loves to play with other dogs; she does really good with other dogs. She’s just an all around good little girl.” 16

Cookie will be spayed and micro-chipped before adoption. The Animal shelter Society will hold their annual Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale on November 5th at the Mass Bingo Hall on West Main Street.

“Put it on your calendar to come out that day there’ll be some bake sale items as well as a lot of Christmas holiday craft items as well,” said Murray

The Animal Shelter is asking that people interested in having an 8 foot table call and register. For more information call the Animal Shelter at (740) 452-1077.
