Philo Band Boosters host 1st ever golf fundraiser at Eaglesticks

SOUTH ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Community members tee off for a good cause.

Monday the community rallied together to support Philo Band Boosters with a round of golf. The fundraiser is a four-person scramble which included 18 holes, a cart, drinks and dinner.

“The band is in need of fundraising to provide additional uniforms replace and repair instruments,” Philo Band, President, Dennis B Schultice said.

Schultice said the goal for this event is two-fold, raise funds for the Philo band and showcase the importance of music.

“I wanted to bring attention to the need of music in our schools. The fundraising efforts are many and not as successful as the support that goes with athletics and other things,” Schultice said.
