Pet of the Week
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It’s time to start your weekend off right with an animal.
The Animal Shelter Society introduced Jeffery. Director, Jody Murray said Jeffery came into the shelter as a kitten in August and after growing up with foster care he’s now ready for a forever home.
“[He] was actually in one of our foster homes for a while, because he was little and needed some special attention,” said Murray. “He is a domestic short hair good with people, good with dogs, [and] good with other cats.”
Jeffery has been at the shelter for one week since he came out of foster care. If you’re interested in Jeffery or any other animals Murray suggested that you stop by and play for a while.
“Come in and spend some time with him, you know being at the shelter isn’t like being at home,” said Murray. “So we want you to spend as much time as possible getting to know them and letting them get to know your family. Make sure it’s going to be a good fit.”
Jeffery is up-to-date on all of his shots and he will be micro-chipped during the adoption process.
