Generals break Tri-Valley’s 47-game MVL winning streak

DRESDEN, Ohio – The Sheridan Generals defeated Tri-Valley 42-24 Friday night at Jack Anderson Stadium to end the Dawgs’ 47-game winning streak over MVL opponents.

Senior quarterback Dylan Dupler led the way with over 200 rushing yards and five total touchdowns, including four on the ground.  The Generals led the Scotties 21-10 at halftime, then put up three more scores to hand the Black and Gold their first loss of the season.

Sheridan is now 6-2 and will take on Crooksville next Friday. The Generals jumped up from 10th to 6th in Division 3, Region 11 in the latest OHSAA computer rankings, according to JoeEitel.com.

The Scotties drop to 7-1 as they prepare to take on Maysville.
