Area Dentists Support Christ Table

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Two area dentists are working together in efforts to improve dental health and feed the hungry.

For $25, residents can receive a tooth extraction or teeth cleaning by Dr. Andy Furhiman or Dr. Scott Williams next Friday, November 4th at Tune Up Your Smile dental office .

“We get 70-80 people in one short day that we see,” Dr. Furhiman said. “This is our sixth year and we’ve raised a little over $20,000 for Christ’s Table.”

All proceeds from this event will go to Christ’s Table. Last year $4,000 was raised.

“It’s benefited a lot of people. We have some people who return on a regular basis, because this is maybe the one time a year they can afford to come in. We know that the dental cost can be expensive,” Dr. Furhiman said.
