Lady Dawgs win district title; Muskies blow out Ceramics

The Tri-Valley Lady Dawgs captured a district championship in soccer, and the John Glenn Muskies ended their season on the gridiron on a high note.

Karsen Ross, Alizza Bonifield and Kylee Ritchie found the back of the net to help Tri-Valley defeat West Holmes, 3-2, and capture its second consecutive district title. The Lady Scotties play Lisbon Beaver in the D-II regional semifinal next Tuesday at Dover Middle School.

Shane Bonner scored three touchdowns to lead John Glenn past Crooksville, 56-14. The Muskies finished the year at 4-6, while the Ceramics ended their season with a 1-9 mark.
