ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The days till the 2016 Presidential election are winding down to single digits and a campaign stop was made in Zanesville Saturday to make the final push.

The National Federation of Republican Women’s bus made a stop at the County Fairgrounds to push for Donald Trump for President. Federation President Carrie Almond has been living in the bus since Mother’s Day, traveling around the country to host rallies. This is their third stop in Ohio. However, Almond said it was their first stop in Zanesville.

“It’s going very very well. We’ve been well received here at the Farmer’s Market. And we’re just delighted to be here today getting the word out that women’s votes matter in this election,” said Almond.

Since the tour started in May, Almond and her bus named “Rosie,” have made stops in 39 different states and held over two thousand rallies. With just 10 days until the election she said she wants to make sure that every woman’s voice is heard.

“First and foremost our project wants to make sure that everyone is registered to vote. And secondly we just want everyone to get out and understand that women are 52, 54% of the voting body and we want to make certain that their voice and their vote is important,” said Almond.

After their stop in Zanesville the bus tour headed to Logan and will wrap up in Ohio tomorrow in Marietta.
