‘Annie Get Your Gun’ musical prepares for November shows

Zanesville, Ohio- The “Annie Get Your Gun” musical is getting ready to debut next month at the Zanesville Community Theater.

Angel Palmer, Co-Director, said that she chose the musical theme because of how inspired she was by Annie Oakley.

“That inspired me, because there was a girl from Ohio who was breaking down gender stereotypes and I was just very impressed with the story of Annie Oakley and the life she led,” said Palmer.

Eric Blake, Co-Director, said that they have an extremely talented and hardworking cast along with a wonderful orchestra.

“These guys have been working hard for about eight weeks now on these musical numbers,” said Blake.

Performances for the musical will be November 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th at 8 p.m. and November 6th and 13th at 2:30 p.m. at the Zanesville Community Theater.
