Evacuated Residents Return Home

State Route 93 in Crooksville is now open to traffic as repairs are completed on a large gas leak. 

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said residents were able to return to their homes.

The Crooksville Fire Department reported Monday night the leak came from a 36" pipe near the area of 226 Watt Hill Road near State Route 93. Residents within a two mile radius from the leak were asked to leave their homes as fire department crews went door to door evacuating residents.
