Bernard F. Fisher , 92 of  Zanesville and formerly of Dresden died at 5:44 AM  November 2, 2016 at the Genesis Health Care.

He was born on November 6, 1923 in Zanesville the son of Bernard Frank Fisher and Edna Marie Yinger Fisher.

Bernard  was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Dresden and a WWII Army Veteran. He retired from Columbus & Southern Electric Company in Conesville as a control room operator. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Bernard enjoyed playing bass guitar & played in several local bands. He was an avid snow skier up until the age of 86 and was also a ham radio operator.

He  is survived by his 12 children; Anne (Jim) Kuhlman, Mike (Lottie) Fisher, Teresa (Bob) Wortman, Chris (Ron) Foraker, Joe (Lori) Fisher, Jenny (John) Wilcox, Holly (Bob) Herron, Tim (Betty) Fisher, Tom Fisher, Carol (Barry) Weisend, Jacquie (Jeff) King & Jay (Chris) Fisher. 24 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren; Two sisters, Margaret (Charlie) Miller and Marilyn (Dave) Smith; a brother-in-law, Ron (Dixie) Hooper; numerous nieces & nephews.  Bernard was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Wilma Jean(Hooper) Fisher who died July 10, 2014, a son Steven Fisher, granddaughter Lisa M. Fisher; Brother and sister-in-law, Wiliam (Rosemary)Fisher and a Sister and brother-in-law,Dorothy (Ralph)Thorla.

Friends may call 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral service being held at 1:00 PM Saturday November 5, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Father Don Franks officiating. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
