Marilyn Ann Scott

Marilyn Ann Scott, 72 of Zanesville passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Marilyn was born in Zanesville on July 11, 1944.  She is the daughter of the late Loren and Katherine (Kenny) Claypool.  She was a housewife and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Scott, ‘they spent 58 wonderful years together’; her children Eugene (Diane) Scott of Zanesville and Rhonda (Fred) Cassaday of New Jersey; her seven grandchildren, CJ (Sara) Watson, Melissa Watson, Corey Scott, Anthony Scott, Katie Cassaday, Sara Scott, and Paige Kennedy, and  serveral great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother Larry Claypool and grandson Cody Scott.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, with Rev. John Sensabaugh officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
