Fink’s Friday Night Blitz Ep. 11

The 8-seeded Philo Electrics stormed past top-seeded Heath, 42-7, at Swank Field to punch a ticket to the Region 15 semifinal. Philo will play 4-seeded Shelby next Friday at a site to be announced.

The Fort Frye Cadets were also winners, beating Centerburg in Region 23 action, 44-6. The 2-seeded and undefeated Cadets are set to battle 6-seeded Barnesville in the regional semifinal next Friday at a site to be announced.

The 6-seeded Cambridge Bobcats made their first playoff appearance since 2006 but fell to 3-seeded Johnstown-Monroe in Region 15, 44-17. The Johnnies will take on 2-seeded Steubenville with the winner awaiting the Electrics or the Whippets.
