Bishops sink Bobcats, return to state tournament

NEWARK, Ohio – The Rosecrans Bishops defeated Grandview Heights 2-1 to advance to their second straight state tournament.

Marcus Browning and Michael Gibson found the back of the net to help the Bishops rally from a one-goal deficit. Goalkeeper Keagan McLaughlin saved 17 Grandview shots, including a penalty kick in the second half.

Rosecrans will take on 19-1-1 Summit Country Day on November 9 at Hilliard Bradley High School.
