ZFD: Camper Fire “Suspicious”
The Zanesville Fire Department is investigating an early Friday morning fire. Assistant Fire Chief Doug Hobson says it happened to a camper in the rear of 647 Putnam Avenue just before 7:30 a.m.. Hobson says when his fire crews arrived on the scene the camper was fully engulfed in flames. He says it took firemen about 20 minutes to get the fire under control. Assistant Chief Hobson says there were no utilities to the camper so the fire is considered suspicious. No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation.
