Warm item drive-thru to take place Saturday at Colony Center

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A share the warmth drive is happening this weekend.

Stratos Wealth Partners and Eastside Community Ministries are partnering to collect warm items such as blankets, coats, and gloves from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Wayne Wycoff of Stratos Wealth Partners said last year they collected nearly 600 warm items.

“We conduced the drive much early in the year. It ended October 2nd. This year we wanted to give more time for folks to be able to clean out their closets and give an opportunity as it got colder to participate,” Wycoff said.

Chad Tom of Stratos Wealth Partners said there is not a set goal they hope to reach. They just would like to help as many people as possible by making it convenient for people donate.

“They reason we decided to do the drive-thru, we thought it would be more excitement to the community,” Tom said. “They can see driving up and down Maple Avenue and hopefully want to partner with us and East Side.”

If you are unable to make it to Saturday’s drive-thru drop off. Feel free to drop off your items at Eastside Community Ministries or Stratos Wealth Partners. The event takes place near Wade’s Clothing in Colony Center.
