ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Saturday morning, Stratos Wealth Partners and Eastside Community Ministries hosted “Share the Warmth” drive thru drop off.

The drive took place at the Colony Center parking lot. Locals donated winter items such as blankets, coats, hats, and gloves.

“It makes me feel really great,” Eastside Community Ministries, Executive Director, Jamie Trout said. “Our community never ceases to amaze me. We’ve had a lot of people dropping off before the event, that couldn’t be here today. So we are appreciative of all of that. We’ll take anything that’s for the cold weather.”

Trout said she is grateful for all the sponsors and partnerships that made this possible. Trout said there is a great need for winter items in the community.

“The blankets we’ve received, we’ve already given them all out. There is a huge need in our community. I’m so glad that people are stepping up to fulfill that need,” Trout said.

You can still donate you warm items at Eastside Community Ministries Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
