Newark Catholic survives Bishop Ready in overtime thriller

THORNVILLE, Ohio – The Newark Catholic Green Wave defeated Bishop Ready 20-14 in overtime to advance to the Division VI, Region 23 final.

Green Wave quarterback Hunter Chapman connected on a touchdown pass to senior running back Kyle Gibson to clinch a spot in the Elite Eight.

Newark Catholic will play Fort Frye for a spot in the Final Four.
