Coshocton & Waterford punch regional final tickets

Coshocton edged Garaway, 23-20, in D-V action at Triway High School, while Waterford handled Trimble, 22-0, in D-VII rematch at Philo’s Sam Hatfield Stadium. The Redskins and Wildcats both advanced to their respective regional finals with the wins.

The Redskins were led offensively by running back Zach Michael, who finished with two touchdowns on the ground.  Coshocton will face #1 Wheelersburg next Saturday for the regional final.

Waterford led the Tomcats 9-0 at halftime before a welcomed offensive explosion in the fourth quarter. Braden Bellville and Tyler McCutcheon punched in rushing touchdowns, and the Wildcat defense pitched a shutout.  Waterford will face Harvest Prep next week with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
