Z-ville Woman Dies in Accident

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a Zanesville woman.  It happened around 2:00 am Sunday on US 22.  Lt Matt Boyd says 39-year-old Heather Deem was driving her SUV east on US 22 went off the left side of the roadway striking a ditch and overturning.  Boyd says Deem was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident.  The crash remains under investigation.
