2016 Zanesville South Holiday Parade

The 2016 Zanesville South Holiday Parade planning is underway.

The parade will be Sunday November 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. on Maysville Avenue. Big Brothers Big Sisters Director, Mollie Crooks, said Zanesville South Business Association and Zanesville – Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce are joining together for this year’s Zanesville South Holiday Parade.

“This year we are partnering with the Zanesville Chamber of Commerce,” said Crooks. “This parade is a part of a story book Christmas, which is an opportunity for the entire county really to come together and celebrate Christmas together.”

Crooks said the South Zanesville Police Department, Zanesville Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Sheriff’s Department will be working together for the communities safety during the parade.

“That’s kind of a cool thing in a couple of ways, of course the firemen are involved and donating their time and the kids think that’s really cool and it also helps us move things along a little more quickly for the parade line up,” Crooks said.
