The iBelieve Foundation Hosts an Educational Fundraiser

The Muskingum County iBelieve Foundation held a benefit dinner at the Zanesville Country Club Sunday.

This event aims to raise funds for students to have access to the iBelieve summer camp experience and reach new opportunities for higher education and leadership skills.

"I believe every kid deserves and opportunity and anytime that you can take them out of their environment and surround them with different leader from outside schools and just give them a week to grow as an individual. It’s a really great experience for our young people but ultimately it’s about building a network of other like kids. People they can bounce ideas off of and talk about college and talk about what they want to accomplish in life," said Patrick Klein, Executive Director/Founder, iBelieve Foundation.

The Superintendent for the Tri-Valley School District, Mark Neal said they are looking for students who have the potential and drive to succeed at the iBelieve summer camp.

"Well it can be a real for the kids. A lot of them have never had an opportunity like this. To be away for a week with students who are like minded. A lot of the time the students who are chosen aren’t always the one who have been chosen for everything else. We’re kind of looking for the diamond in the rough," said Neal.

Also during the dinner four students that attended the summer program gave presentations based on their experiences.
