Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Now it’s time to showcase the Animal Shelter Society’s pet of the week.

This is 5-year-old Licorice. She’s a lab mix. She came into the shelter in February. Licorice wants a forever home.

“She has a sponsored adoption fee. Her adoption fee is only $75 plus her tags on top of that. As you can see she’s a calm dog. She has a lot of energy. We would encourage anyone that’s interested in her to come in spent some time with her. We can set up a meet and greet. I think she’ll make a nice addition to someone’s home,” said Animal Shelter Society Executive Director Jody Murray.

In the month of May, the animal shelter will be hosting two events the first event is on the 5th, it’s called “Neuterama”, which is sponsored by the Brandywine Hospital for Pets.

“We have a reduced fees to $28. And then May the 7th, we will be having our yard sale and flea market down at our bingo hall,” said Murray.
