ZPD Searching For Hit-Run Suspect Vehicle

The Zanesville Police Department says it searching for the suspect from a weekend hit and run accident. It happened on Linden Avenue Saturday night around 10:30. Police say a female was struck by a car and seriously injured. Investigators are looking for a red Pontiac Grand Prix that has damage to the right front of the vehicle. Police are not releasing the name of the victim, but they did say she was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Zanesville Police.
