Hope To The Rescue Hosting 2nd Annual ‘Walk For Autism’
The walk will take place at 38 N 4th Street at the Masonic Temple in downtown Zanesville. Registration will begin at 10:30am and the walk will follow afterwards.
C.E.O. and Director at Hope To The Rescue, Cheryl L Coles, said they are proud to announce this event for a second year in a row.
“We are going to set off two to three hundred balloons before the walk. Anyone attending the walk gets a free autism bracelet, free bottle of water, and after the walk we have hotdogs and refreshments. We just want everyone to come out to spread awareness for autism in downtown Zanesville,†said Coles.
Since it is Autism Awareness month, Coles said this event gives Hope To The Rescue the opportunity to give back to the community. She said this walk is a great event to get people together and help spread awareness.
“We leave outside the Masonic Temple and we stop by the courthouse stairs for a photograph and then we head down Main Street. If you can’t walk, we still want you to come down and have a seat, because we need people for awareness,†said Coles.
Coles also said that if you have information that has to deal with Autism Awareness, please contact Hope To The Rescue at 740-252-9518 and they will be happy to distribute your information at the event.
