ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local business is doing it’s part to keep our community clean.
American Pride Power Equipment Incorporated is hosting a clean -up day called “American Pride Community Clean-up” this Saturday, April 16th from 10 a.m. until noon. Participates will meet at the American Pride store, then split up into groups to clean up on-and-off ramps and roadways.
“It looks pretty bad right now. From all winter people throwing stuff out of their car windows for whatever reason. And I just thought it would be a good thing to get together and get some of it picked up,” said American Pride President Ryan Dodson.
Kimble is providing a dumpster to dump trash and the Winerak is providing hot dogs and buns for a cookout for the volunteers.
“Just show up Saturday morning, bring trash bags. We are going to buy a chunk of trash bags to hand out if you don’t have any. If you’re unable to help Saturday morning due to scheduling or other events. You can drop off some trash bags, or drop off some meat for the grill, or tell your friends about it. The more people we get the cleaner it will be when we’re done,” said Dodson.
American Pride is located at 700 McIntire Avenue.
