Julie A. Miller
Julie A. Miller, 49 of Columbus and formerly of Zanesville passed away at 2:34 AM Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following injuries sustained in an accidental fall at her residence.
She was born on October 21, 1967 in Zanesville. Julie was a 1986 graduate of West Muskingum High School and a 1988 graduate of the Ohio University of Zanesville Nursing Program. She worked at Mt. Carmel East in the Orthopedics Department for many years, was a supervisor in the home health care profession and also was employed in the Operating Room Department at Ohio State University Medical Center. Julie was an avid runner & completed the Columbus, Chicago & Vermont Lakes Marathons. She loved cooking and her favorite channel was the food network. In addition to cooking, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her beloved cat, Roger.
She is survived by her mother, Sharon A. (Shinn) Miller of Zanesville, two sisters; Jayna (Chris) Schneider of Dublin and Jill Yerington of Columbus; two nieces, Madeline Prindle & Carys Christensen and two nephews, Andrew Schneider and Noah Schneider.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Douglas W. Miller.
Friends may call 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 15th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, December 16th. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
