Noble Co. Jr. Fair Royalty

CALDWELL, Ohio – Ohio’s county fairs are ingrained with time honored traditions that are held dear by community members across the state.
One of those traditions is the annual designation of the county’s junior fair Royal Court, a recognition that generations of designees have cherished ever since.
“So, it’s basically based off your interview,” Noble County Junior Fair Princess Karla Myers said. “It’s how you talk because when you’re Jr. Fair Princess, it involves a lot of communicating, a lot of showing people like what to do and like communicating with other people I feel like.”
The Noble County selection process takes place annually, at a Fourth of July community event, shortly before the state fair convenes later in the month and Myers shared what the nomination means to her.
“It means that I get to represent my county like I’ve always wanted to. And it’s just a dream I’ve always had of like becoming royalty, being able to show everybody who I am and what I mean,” Myers said.
Members of the Jr. Fair Royal Court perform various duties throughout the year, not only at their home fair, but as ambassadors of their community at other county fairs and functions across the state.
