MVHC Players of the Game – Week Four

MVHC

ZANESVILLE, OH – Another week gone by in high school football means another set of players recognized with our MVHC “Players of the Game” for week four!

On the game broadcasted on Z92 on Friday night, Tri-Valley emerged with a 41-7 victory over Morgan, in which senior wide receiver Ryan Lamonica caught three touchdown passes in the win. Arguably the most athletic player on the big school division put on a highlight reel yet again.

New Lexington staked its flag right in the heart of the MVL small school division race, defeating West Muskingum 33-7 in dominating fashion. Tanner Toth had his name all over the game with six catches for 90 yards on offense, along with eight tackles on defense.

Then on AM 1240, despite another losing affair, sophomore receiver Connor Johnson had a standout game for Zanesville on both sides of the ball. He registered seven receptions for 137 yards, plus a touchdown. Then on defense, seven tackles and a pass break up, gives him player of the game honors from Friday night.

Congratulations to all three athletes!
