Paul Bunyan Show 2025

Paul Bunyan Show

The Ohio Forestry Association first organized the Paul Bunyan Show in 1957, and this weekend the annual show returned to Cambridge, Ohio.

The event is on pace to have around 15,000 attendees,  according to the Ohio Forestry Association.

Offering over 150 different exhibitors and shows ranging from log cutting to chainsaw carving, this event makes an easy introduction into forestry while also offering something to teach those at the top of their field.

“You know, the broad reach and the longevity. So we are the original forestry show in America, and we are the oldest one, on the eastern side of the United States .” Executive Director of OFA Jenna Reese said. “So, the name is known within the industry throughout the country and into, Canada.  And that’s why you see those exhibitors here at the Paul Bunton Show .”

The show has had many homes across Ohio during its 68 years history but the continued support of the Cambridge community is a big reason they have returned to the Guernsey County Fairgrounds for the past 19 years.

“I’d say their loyalty is second to none. A lot of our exhibitors here and a lot of our vendors are local. So our food vendors specifically, some of whom have been with us for ten plus years, as well as attendees who come every single year to see the show and they get excited about this year round.”  Show Director Kaylah Forbus said. “The community in Cambridge here supports us in so many ways. As far as promotion, everything from local hotels and restaurants to the local residents.”

The Paul Bunyan Show wrapped up on Sunday.
