Carlos Church

Carlos E. Church, 82, of Zanesville died at 9:55 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home.

He was born on Monday, July 12, 1943, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph M Church and Marguerite E Barnes Church.

Carlos was a member of Pleasant Grove Church. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, coin collecting and watching sports, especially Ohio State and the Cincinnati Reds. Carlos worked for Rittberger Meats and Shirer Meats for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Hoffer Church; two sons, Carl Church and Michael Church; two grandchildren, Dallas Church and Paige Church; three great grandchildren, Owen Church, Garrett Church and Nevaeh Church; a sister-in-law, Diane Kreis; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Church, Harry Church and Walter Church; and a daughter in law, Rita McFerren Church.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, at New Hope Cemetery, 7025 Adamsville Otsego Rd, Adamsville, Ohio 43802 with Pastor Eddie Warne officiating. Burial will conclude at the New Hope Cemetery.
