Zanesville Man Dead After Crash in Belmont County

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH – The St. Clairsville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that claimed the life of a Zanesville man.

According to the Patrol, around 1PM on Wednesday, a car was traveling eastbound on I-70 when it went off the right side of the road and struck an embankment before coming to a stop in a grassy area.

The Patrol says 60-year-old Thomas Littick was transported from the scene to West Virginia University Medical Center in Wheeling, WV where he was later pronounced deceased.

The agencies that assisted on scene were the Barnesville Fire and EMS, Bethesda EMS, Fairview VFD, Mount Pleasant VFD, and Braden’s A1 Towing.

The crash remains under investigation.
