Muskingum Defensive Lineman Michael Passes Away

NEW CONCORD, OH – Tragedy strikes Muskingum University, as sophomore defensive lineman Jeremy Michael has suddenly passed away.
Michael was reportedly playing a game of basketball upon his untimely passing. The North Ridgefield native was a two-year member on the Muskies’ football team as well as a member of the ‘MACE’ fraternity. Per the University, Michael was also a “committed student assistant in sports communication”.
Muskingum head coach Matt Nardo lends his sympathy for the Michael family.
“My heart aches for his family. Our football family lost a brother. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones. He will always be with us! Family over everything!”
Jeremy is survived by his mother, Heather, who can be supported through a ‘GoFundMe’ during this difficult time.
