Zanesville High School Devilettes Host Annual Paulette Young Holiday Bazaar

The Zanesville High School Devilettes brought the community together for their annual Paulette Young Holiday Bazaar at National Road Elementary School.

The event featured more than 75 vendor tables, offering a variety of items, including holiday-themed gifts and merchandise. Shoppers also had the opportunity to support the Devilettes through raffles and other fundraising efforts.

The bazaar honors Paulette Young, who spent years supporting the organization by helping with uniforms, chaperoning and other activities.

“She means a lot to us,” said Devilette Director Lamia Mayle. “She stayed helping until she passed.”

Mayle said the fundraiser plays an important role in helping the group pay for uniforms, gifts and other expenses.

For the dancers, the event is also a way to give back to the community that supports them.

Zanesville High School Devilettes Kylah Dandridge and Megan McLendon said being part of the organization just feels right.

“We just all feel like one big family,” they said.

They added that the money raised through fundraisers goes directly back to the dancers.
