Joseph Lynn Hern

Joseph Lynn Hern 46, of Zanesville passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Columbus. He was born June 2, 1970 in Zanesville. Joseph was retired from the Columbus Police Department, enjoyed photography, was a passionate singer, guitar player and artist.

He is survived by his mother Brenda Beymer (Rich) Heizman; a son Keegan Hern; a daughter Kaeli Hern; siblings Jerry Hern III (Lisa Ortiz), Jef Hern (Leanne Knicely), Jim (Jodi) Hern; Julie Kemp, Arthur (Stephanie) Heizman and Tim (Tina) Heizman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerrold L. Hern Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM Monday, January 9, 2017 at the First Church of God, 1930 Newark Road, Zanesville, OH with Pastor Danny Neville officiating. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD has been entrusted to care for the Hern family.
